Quality Control Inspector Position
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
- Read, understand and interpret code requirements.
- Dimensional checks and quality control sign offs.
- Material ID and inspection.
- Fill out quality control forms and documentation.
- Communication and teamwork with production personnel.
- Use precision and control to prevent damage and assure a quality product.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be a problem solver.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to pass a 2G structural FCAW weld test.
- Must be able to pass a tape measure test.
- Must pass a fitness for work physical.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Although not required, CWI certification is a plus.
